Project overview
A community-driven app and website designed to elevate human cultural content curation. My role encompassed crafting and overseeing the app’s visual identity, brand strategy and communication, UX/UI design, and social media presence, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Achievements include attracting over 8,000 app users, cultivating a social media following of 9,000, and securing three financial investments totaling USD 200,000 over three years.

Design approach
The identity was designed around the idea of cultural discovery as a collective, ongoing process: a space where people express their taste and expand their cultural repertoire through community.
From the beginning, purple was defined as the brand’s core color, representing creativity, curiosity and cultural exploration. Combined with green, a color associated with growth and connection, the palette helps shape a digital environment that brings people together through shared interests in culture and entertainment.
The brand symbol was designed as a five-point diamond containing the letter K. The diamond metaphor reflects the gradual process of refining one’s cultural references over time, reinforcing the idea of a community that helps surface meaningful and engaging content. References to film and pop culture add a sense of fandom and enthusiasm to the identity, creating a tone that is accessible, playful and culturally engaged.
